Udta Punjab 9th Day Collection, Udta Punjab 2nd Saturday Box Office Total 9 Days Report and Occupancy: “Udta Punjab” finally inching close to its shore after making a decent sail at the BO Worldwide. The flick’s earnings were transcending slowly to lows, but the release of Diljit starrer “Sardaar Ji2” made a significant drop on the screens of “Udta Punjab”.

Abhishek Chaubey’s directorial “Udta Punjab” observed a significant drop is its grossing’s, minting just Rs 1.40 crore at the domestic Box Office.
On its eighth day, after its release, total Biz at the Indian Box Office account for Rs 49.90 crore inching closer to the Rs 50 crore mark. Starting at Week 2 has been sadistic for the flick, from the earnings point of view.
“UdtaPunjab registers a drastic fall on Day 8… [Week 2] Fri 1.40 cr. Total: ₹ 49.90 cr. India biz.” Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted.
Illustrating the path of Biz, the flick is expected to mint even lower on its 9th day at the domestic BO. It is expected to mint around Rs 1.10 crore at the Box office. {Early Estimate}
The gap can be low as the weekend days can bring a surge in the occupancy, though the competition at the theatres is much for the flick.
Release of Hollywood flick “Independence Day Resurgence” along with the Punjab release “Sardaar Ji2” has thickened the situation much.
Still, what gives a sigh of relief to the producers and investors is that flick gardened some good money from the field. Though the presumptions were against it, yet the response flick received from the masses was decent.
The moviegoers coming out it numbers to the multiplexes and screens, to watch the flick rather than residing to the leaked version compelled the cast crew to personally thank the audience and the fans.
Shahid Kapoor AKA rock star Tommy Singh came out with the same feel. Also, the flick had been good impression for the debutant Diljit at the Bollywood Industry. He can hope for more to be served on his plate in the days to come.

Overall, the flick showed the hard work put into by the stars, production unit, scriptwriters and the directors. To present a movie, in such an erotic form, being bold, cunning and impulsive at the society and the officials requires a good skill set.
