Union Budget Date 2018: Finance Minister Arun Jaitley is going to present the Budget for the session 2018-19 on 1st of February 2018. Last time, the budget is announced at noon on the same date. This will be the BJP’s fifth and last presentation before the Lok Sabha Polls 2019.

From January 29, the budget session has been started. And the first phase will last until February 9. While the second phase will start from 5th March last up to April 6. The gap between the two phases will be a recess for clearance by the standing committees for the budget proposals.
For Modi’s government, this will be a most crucial financial year. Because they have made two big decisions in the previous years which are Demonetisation and Goods and Services Tax (GST). Now, everybody has eyes on Mr Jaitley’s presentation.

The top priority of the budget will be the agricultural sector as said by Mr Jaitley in an interview. Mr Jaitley said, “Ensuring the benefits reach the agri-sector and growth is visible, this is among the priority areas for us.”
Mr Jaitley further added that some of the places will be observed to experience price downfall mainly because of the high production and the farmer’s produce are not getting what they deserve. He said that various steps have been implemented in the last few years for the farmers.
The rumours and speculations are already become common between the public and the experts revealed that the Budget 2018 will be expected to have four big states in the populist budget including Karnataka, Rajasthan, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
