WandaVision is an upcoming Marvel’s Spin-Off which is bringing back Wanda Maximoff, Scarlet Witch, and Vision. It is going to be half sitcom and half MCU spectacular. It’s weird as one of them is supposed to be dead in reel life.

With Marvel entering its 4th phase, Marvel has come up with many projects and this is one of them. It will be great to see what connection this series is going to make with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Let’s get into the details of the show and find out when it is going to be released and who is the cast.

Who is in the cast of WandaVision season 1?

We will be seeing our favorite characters returning back on the screen like Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis from the Thor movie, Paul Bettany as Vision, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo from Ant-Man and the Wasp, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau and Kathryn Hahn as Nosy Neighbor.

What will WandaVision season 1 be about? Plot

As of now, not many details of the show have come out. In Avengers: Endgame, we saw that Thanos ripping the Mind Stone from Vision which left him dead. However, it is clear that we will be seeing Wanda and Vision in the show. It was revealed that WandaVision will be seen in an upcoming MCU film Doctor Strange and The Multiverse of Madness.

This may mean that we will be seeing alternate universes and in one of those universes, Vision is still alive. We have also seen in comics how Wanda had reality-altering powers. In the comic House of M, she used her powers to recreate certain scenarios and put the heroes in different positions.

Maybe this sitcom could be one of her creations. It becomes really intriguing. While filming for the series in Atlanta, we saw actress Teyonna Paris with an ID badge for some fictional US government department named SWORD. It’s different from SHIELD. The former agency came into inception in comic Astonishing X-Men. It is actually the outer space-policing opposite to the latter.

The story of the show is under wraps, but as per one of its cast members Elizabeth Olsen, it could be about why Wanda came to be known as Scarlet Witch. The series’ setting is based on Vision comic written by Tom King and Gabriel Walta. It may also feature Sparky the dog from the comics who would be the Vision version of a pet.

As of now, there are many guesses and speculations. I guess we will have to wait a little more for the synopsis. (check: Will there be Frontier season 4?.)
