But, wait a second, who are these people dropping the rating of TikTok app on Google Play Store? Are these the avid fans of YouTube content creators? Have they asked them to do so?
Well, the fans of YouTubers did make the rating of Tik Tok app fall down. But, they had dropped it to 3.8. They did it in rage as YouTube took down the roast video of Carryminati – YouTube vs TikTok: The End. However, the YT content creators didn’t ask their fanbase to do so.
If it is true, then how did it fell down to 1.3 today (May 20, 2020)? Well, it’s because of controversial videos like Faizal Siddiqui’s that are indirectly promoting violence in some form or other. The ratings are falling as people got enraged and offended as there are numerous such videos on the platform promoting violence.
Faizal Siddiqui’s controversial video is one of the reasons why TikTok rating is falling down from the last few days. Another reason is that YouTubers are roasting TikTokers in their videos.
TikTok has greatly suffered due to this incident because its biggest audience resides in India (with over 611 Million monthly active users), its rating has dropped to a whopping ‘1.3 stars’ in just 4 days. It had a 4.5 stars rating on the Play Store on 16th May 2020. TikTok Lite App is tasting dust with 1.1 stars.
Who is Faizal Siddiqui?
Faizal Siddiqui belongs to the team ‘Team Nawab’ which also includes his brother Amir Siddiqui, the guy who initiated the YouTube vs TikTok feud by posting an IGTV Video and targeting various YouTubers for flaws in their videos and intentions. Needless to say that Siddiqui’s brothers love to make controversies.
Faizal Siddiqui enjoys 13.4 Million followers on TikTok and 450K followers on Instagram. He is the most popular member among his other team members of ‘Team Nawab’.
Following the controversy and the controversial video, Technical Guruji (Gaurav Chaudhary) has said, in one of his videos, that he will uninstall the TikTok app from all of his devices.
