Yeh Hai Mohabbatein 23rd January 2016: The episode starts with Bala running after Vandu on the road. Raman also follows them. Bala stops Vandu. Ishita hugs her and Vandu starts crying. She says she has not killed him, she was not guilty. Ishita says they know she is innocent. She has not done anything. They bring her home. Vandu cries.

Raman asks who had done this. Vandu points towards Sarika. Sarika said she only said the truth. Everyone scolds her. Mrs. Bhalla controls Romi. Raman said he had seen Suraj and his men and she must be involved in this. She said Vandu was the person to be blamed because of her the boy was in the hospital.
Raman scolds Sarika and orders her to leave. Ishita asks Bala to take Vandu to her room as she arranges medicines for her. Romi and Raman leave for attending guests in the party.
Ruhi and Shravan start playing hide n seek as they got bored in the party. Ruhi sees Chadda twisting Pallavi’s hand. Ruhi interrupted them. She asked Chadda what he was doing. Chadda gets nervous. He said he was just romancing like Romeo with her Juliet. He kisses Pallavi’s hand. He asks Ruhi to tell Raman that they had left. Pallavi goes with Chadda.

Ishita gave medicines to Mrs. Bhalla and asks her to take rest. Mrs. Bhalla thinks about Vandu. Mr. Bhalla asks her to look after Amma. Ishita goes to the door to see who had come. Adi is there on the door. He hugs her. The coach said the tournament was over so they left him. Raman then calls Pathak and asks for help as Sarika continues to trouble them.
Ruhi comes and says she knew it and she should not worry. Ishita says I will be punished. Ruhi said she didn’t need any punishment as she was the best mother. Ruhi hugs her and Raman gets happy seeing them. Ruhi said she didn’t enjoy her trip to London. Raman said no one missed him but Adi and asks where he was. Ruhi said he was with his Dadu Dadi.
Vandu gets a mare, the student’s father blames her for his death. She wakes up shouting and crying. I didn’t kill him, she shouts. Bala comes and asks her to feel normal as he was alive and she didn’t kill him. He thinks even the medicines can’t cure her mind’s trauma. Ishita tells stories to Adi and Ruhi and makes them sleep. Ishita got a call and goes, leaving a message for Raman. Raman saw the message and rushes to her.

Raman ran to Manoj’s home and asked for Ishita. He said why he came there. He replied that Ishita messaged her that Shagun had an emergency so he got a doctor. Manoj said but she was sleeping in her room. They go and knock at the door.
Ishita opens the door and they see Shagun eating Chaat. Doctor scolds Raman for taking him there and there was no emergency. Raman also scolds them for scaring him at this time. He said he got worried and even took the doctor.
Ishita said Shagun had Chaat carvings so she had to come to give her chaat. Shagun thanks her for it. Raman asks her to control as she also had sweets in the party. Shagun told Ishita that she knew Pallavi and she was actually Pragati and she knew her. Ishita recalls Tushar’s words.
