Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai 11th January 2018 Written Updates: The episode started with Dadi. She said to all family members that she felt very ashamed of what she did with Naira. Naira said that they should put behind whatever happened in the past.

Naksh said that they should go to the terrace for flying kites. They all went to terrace except Dadi and Surekha. Dadi asked Surekha Ms Kaveri’s room. Surekha told her Ms Kaveri’s room location. Dadi said to her that when all of them would be on terrace then she had to quietly sneak into Kaveri’s room to take conch shell and keep it in her purse and hand it to her afterwards.
Surekha said to Dadi why she was saying this to her because she had never done this before. She said what would happen if anyone noticed her when she sneak into Kaveri’s room. Dadi said her to do as she had asked her and if anyone asked her then tell them that she was looking for the washroom. Surekha said that it’s a good idea.
Naira and Kartik saw Dadi and Surekha talking with each other and they had doubt on them that they were hiding something from them. All were on the terrace. Kartik’s father asked for Kartik that he seemed very happy.

Kartik said that he was happy to see the whole family together and they were going to fly kites together. Kartik’s father said that they were also happy about it. Shubham saw them and thought that Kartik had never respected his father and mother but since his arrival, Kartik was feeling insecure so he tried to mingle with them because he feared that he might replace him.
Surekha went to Kaveri’s room and stole conch shell and put it in her purse. She thought that she had performed the task without any goof up so Dadi would not scold her this time. Kartik and naira started giving kites to each family member. Kartik’s father said that his kite was missing.
He started finding his kite. Kartik thought to help him in finding his kite. At last Kartik’s father found his kite. Surekha gave conch shell to Suhasini. After seeing conch shell Dadi became angry. She said to Surekha that she had stolen fake conch shell.
She said that it was not 150 years old conch shell which they were searching. She said to Surekha that she was stupid that she gave this task to her. She said that she herself had to do something.
All of the family members started flying kites. Dadi thought that she herself had to sneak into Kaveri’s room and steal conch shell.
Shubham came to Kartik and said to him to do a kite competition with him. He said that when he was in his village, he used to do kite competition with his friends and it would make a lot of fun. Kartik said to him that they were already having fun, so there was no need for a competition and they would fly their own kites.
Shubham said that there would be more excitement in competition. He said to Kartik that he if he lost, he would do whatever he asked him. Naira asked Shubham if he would give another chance to his mother if he lost in kite competition.
Shubham agreed with her. Shubham said to Kartik that he won then Kartik had to do whatever he asked him. Kartik also agreed with him. Naira announced to all that there would be a kite competition between Kartik and Shubham.
Kartik’s father asked her what was need of competition. Kartik said to him not to worry as competition would be just friendly. Who will win the kite competition between Kartik and Shubham?
