13 Reasons Why became the show that took us through a different side of being a teenager. It addressed the things which were not spoken of. When season one came out, it was more about why it happened. Season two concentrated on the aftermath. Season three came out focusing on the other characters and left Hannah behind. This show was based on a novel called by the same name.
In the third installment, we saw Bryce Walker was killed. While he was the antagonist, he had built a character arc which made us feel sorry for him. However, the fourth installment concentrates on all of them graduating while hiding this secret. Well, now that season four is out, we are eager to know if there is going to be 13RW season 5? So let’s jump right into the details.

Before the fourth installment come out, there was speculation that said that this was the last season. However, Netflix also confirmed later that this was the last installment. There was a tweet from 13RW’s official page which had a video with the caption “June 5th. Final Season.”
Well, that just confirms that season four is the last installment for the show. In the video, we saw them call a wrap for the installment. We saw all of them including the actors and crew members with teary eyes. Which just shows how much the show has impacted everyone working as well.
Brian Yorkey mentioned that he thinks that a show about high school students can go with four seasons because high school is for four years. He thought that getting the characters to graduate will be the perfect ending. Well to be honest he is kind of right. As the story itself was based on school life and their struggles in the school itself.
What happened in 13 Reasons Why season 4? (Spoilers)
This show revolves around the things that are not easy to talk about. We have seen the show progress from one topic to another. Focusing on one character only to focusing more on others. In season four, we saw that Winstone, Monty’s ex, joined Liberty. Trying to find out the secret that everyone has been hiding.
The show follows the main characters trying to hide the secret. While Clay also suffers from severe anxiety, this show speaks about everything beyond the struggles of the characters and how they back each other up. While the show has ended for good. It has left us all feeling differently.
It has also made us think about certain things. In the end, we find out that this installment Justin dies due to HIV and AIDS. While Jessica and Clay get to say their goodbyes to him. In the finale, we see Katherine Langford who played the role of Hannah come and say goodbye to Clay once again.
In the end, we see all of them go and bury the tapes Hannah left behind. Basically putting an end to the whole story there. Sure the finale was something. It was full of overwhelming emotions. Where to stream 13 Reasons Why online?
The show is available on Netflix. It has a total of four seasons. You can start streaming all the episodes there. (check: Marvel’s Black Panther 2 Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Plot: Keanu Reeves May Play Villain.)
Could there be 13 Reasons Why spinoff on Netflix?
Theoretically, anything is possible. If it can be dreamt, it can be achieved. But, it’s highly unlikely that Netflix would like to focus on it at this time. It’s because star Dylan Minnette laughed at it when asked during an interview. So, she kinda busted the spinoff rumors, at least for now.
However, we do have good news. It’s that Netflix is roping the original cast, especially Katherine Langford, in a fantasy series called Cursed. It is due to release this Summer. The upcoming series is a retelling of the Arthurian myth taking Nimue, the Lady of the Lake, as the central character.
