After failing to create much buzz in the show, Actor and reality show ‘Splitsvilla 8’ contestant, Yash Pandit is making headlines, after a case was registered against the TV actor for allegedly raping an actress on the pretext of marriage.
Yash Pandit, the 34-year-old Mumbai-based actor has been a part of TV shows like ‘Savitri’ and ‘Tere Mere Sapne, was reported to have met the actress in the month of September on the sets of a TV show. On the promise of introducing her to his parents he took her to his residence in Juhu, where he allegedly raped her several times.

The victim approached the Juhu police station to register an FIR against him after the actor began ignoring her after and avoiding her calls after that day.

“He only had intentions of developing a physical relationship with me. He confessed to me that he had sexual relationships with other girls. They perhaps did not approach the cops, because they were scared of being defamed. But, I wanted to teach him a lesson to get his nefarious intentions out in public view,” the victim told a Mumbai daily.
While Senior inspector of Juhu police station, Sunil Ghosalkar said, ‘the police have set up teams apparently rainding at every place they suspect of him hidding’.

while he also said, “I have already issued a memo to the investigating officer and have replaced her. The newly-appointed officer in the case is already studying it and will be adding the sections wherever they are required. After the actress in reports also charged some of the cops of pressurising her for negligence of the case,
