Another Life is a science-fiction drama series brought by Netflix. It was premiered on 25th July 2019 with a total of ten episodes. The first season of the series received a mixture of different reviews since some liked it and some found it to be ‘dreadful’, ‘garbage’ and even ‘cringed’ on the show.
Even after a bunch of mixed reviews, Netflix decided to renew the series with a second season as announced in October 2019. Well, we’ve got answers to most of your questions, so let us begin.
Is there a season 2 of Another Life? Was it canceled?
To answer your doubts, the series was ended on an unclear path with a manipulative motive. Harper Glass, the journalist has been mind-controlled by the Achaia (the aliens) and therefore, she announced to the people of the earth wants peace and imposes no destruction.
Unfortunately, Erik also feels no threat from them and reaches out to them to seek help to heal his and Niko’s daughter. Clearly, the Achaia’s intentions seem wicked at the moment because of all the strings they’re pulling with the humans.
What is Another Life about? Plot
Niko Breckenridge is a captain on the spaceship called, Salvare, on a deep space mission with the rest of the crew. They try to investigate an alien-sent ‘Artifact’ by establishing some communication with it.
They have to communicate and pass information to earth with their findings but things go awry when Salvare loses contact with the earth, facing adversities one after the other. This leaves Niko without ties to her husband and daughter and the earth standing defenseless against the dangerous aliens.
Another Life Season 2 Renewal
Netflix announced the next installment of the series within just two months of the release of the first installment. The second season seems to be coming on screen in order to complete its story. In order to do so, the audience can expect a third season as well if we are to consider Katee Sackhoff’s (Niko) words.
Another Life Season 2 Plot: What will happen?
The first unclear facts that need to be answered in season two is, what are the intentions behind the Achaia? To be completely candid, they seem to have bigger and barbaric plans than to just extinguish the humankind. To put some theories on to the plate, the Achaia’s might see the humans as the testing rats to experiment with their inventions.
Or maybe, they would want to enslave humans for their own use and to acquire the planet earth.
Whatever their intentions are, they are transparently evil. The manipulations to the human mind to cover their own tracks and purpose, means they are hiding something huge.

When will the season 2 trailer of Another Life release?
The first installment was completed in four full months. The second season, however, was supposed to start its shooting in March 2020 but due to the pandemic and lockdown, it has been postponed officially.
The shooting would have taken place in Vancouver, Canada which is now in lockdown. It is now uncertain about the reopening of the shoot. Who is in Another Life season 2 cast?
A confirmation on who all are on-board for season 2 will only be recovered once the production begins. As for now, we won’t see Salvare’s pilot Ian because Niko killed him and Bernie was forced to kill Sasha after he attacked Zayn. So, these two without a doubt are out of the picture (at least for now since nobody really dies in a sci-fi).
