The reviews of this film are fantastic till now by the audience. The flick performed very well on the weekend but it seems that the film has lost its grip on weekdays and business reports show much more decline than expected.
This biographic film is made on a budget around Rs. 35 crores on the life of former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin. Azhar started with good collections of Rs. 6.30 crores on its first day and total first-weekend box office collection concluded with Rs. 20.80 crores.
It was expected that the film will show a decline in its business reports on weekdays and the same happened. The film after performing well on opening weekend has shown a decline in its collections on the 4th day.

According to sources, the occupancy rate has fallen for the film and is now just 25- 35%. The business reports of the flick has shown a large decrease in collections on the 1st Tuesday.
Further, the collections from morning shows are estimated to be Rs.0.65 crores, from afternoon shows to be around Rs. 0.54 crores and collections from evening shows to be around Rs. 0.75 crores. The busy weekdays has resulted in the sudden decline in collections of this flick.
