CarryMinati becomes the most subscribed Indian (individual) Youtuber with 20.5 Million Subscribers (as of June 6, 2020), beating the previous record-holder Amit Bhadana having 20.4 Milion subscribers.

Yesterday, CarryMinati released the most awaited video ‘Yalgaar‘ which disses TikTokers and fellow YouTubers who talked wrongly of his roasting style in “YouTube vs TikTok: The End” video which ended up deleting from YouTube for violating ‘Terms of Service’.

In early 2020, Ajay could not have foreseen to achieve the 20 Million Subscribers milestone let alone become the Most Subscribed Indian YouTuber. The YouTube vs TikTok controversy helped Ajey gain millions of subscribers and the deletion of his record-breaking video certainly added to the artist’s popularity.

On May 5th, Carry released his ‘YouTube vs TikTok: The End’ video which broke several records worldwide, one being that Carry gained 5 Million subscribers in a week. But soon the video was taken down citing the “act of cyberbullying and harassment”.

YouTube had deleted the Most Liked Indian YouTube Video and Carry’s number of supporters and fans increased exponentially with time and demanding that the video must be reinstated.

YouTube decided not to revive the video.

CarryMinati released “Stop Making Assumptions” on May 15th which marked his first appearance on Social Media after the huge controversy. The video received so much love and support that it ended up getting titles like Fastest Million 1,2,5 Million Likes and became the Most Liked Video on YouTube India.

CarryMinati made history twice in the same month. His following grew to 19.8 Million.

Ajey did not cross the 20 Million mark first as Amit Bhadana booked himself the title of First Ever Indian YouTuber to Cross 20 Milion Subscribers on May 26th.

CarryMinati crossed 20 Million subscribers four days ago on 2nd May 2020. He was set on the path to becoming the Most Subscribed Indian YouTube channel 2020.

CaryMinati did it in style through ‘Yalgaar’, a hip-hop rap song sung and written by himself. The dissing track raked in millions of views every passing hour, the likes count increased and so did the subscriber’s counts.

In less than a day Yalgaar release, Ajey gained 500K subscribers, eventually surpassing the Amit Bhadana’s subscribers count and become the Most Subscribed Indian Individual YouTuber Channel.

Yalgaar is trending #1 in YouTube India with 25 Million views and 4.5 Million likes. It would not be wrong to think that Yalgaar might end up becoming the most liked Indian video on YouTube, breaking his own record of 8.2 Million Likes on ‘Stop making Assumptions’.

The lyrics of Yalgaar are written and sung by Ajey Nagar (CarryMinati). The music is composed and produced by Wily Frenzy, a childhood friend of Ajey. The duo worked together on ‘Warrior” released by CarryMinati in April 2020.

Every verse from the song hits like a cannon in the chest and every line can be related to the hardships Ajey faced during the last month.

Ajey disses TikTokers for producing cringe content and claiming to be social influencers, he especially targets Amir Siddiqui, responsible for initiating YouTube vs TikTok controversy. He also hits fellow YouTubers with the likes of Saimon Says, Dhruv Raathee, and Kunal Kamra.
