Not only this the movie got the status of 5th highest grosser of 2015 after “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo”, “Tanu Weds Manu Returns”, and “ABCD 2”.
The movie has collected Rs. 102.65 as the first week domestic BO business as per the tweet by Taran Adarsh, “#Dilwale Fri 21 cr, Sat 20.09 cr, Sun 24 cr, Mon 10.09 cr, Tue 9.42 cr, Wed 8.79 cr, Thu 9.26 cr. Total: ₹ 102.65 cr. India biz.”
“Dilwale” stood first at the opening weekend while “Bajirao Mastani” had an upper hand in weekdays. Still the former production is not able to cross the Rs. 100 Cr mark at Indian screens. On Thursday, it has collected an amount more than that of Gauri Khan’s production.
The report says that “Dilwale” has weekend earning of Rs. 65.09 Cr and weekdays income of Rs. 46.77 Cr in India. The second weekend is going to be more interesting as this is the season of holidays which is favorable for both the movies released last Friday.
