Fukrey 3 is the latest addition to the evergreen comedy franchise Fukrey. The prequel Fukrey Returns was released in 2017, it received a positive response from the viewers and critics. The original Fukrey was released back in 2013 when it got everybody’s attention for delivering humorous and a good storyline in such a good manner. It was and still continues to be directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba. Critics and views applauded the movie. In the beginning, it did not do as expected in the terms of box office, but slowly and steadily went on to garner Rs 36.5 crores at Box Office (worldwide).
Fukrey is a popular 2013 Bollywood comedy film which was directed by Mrighdeep S Lamba. Initially, the movie has a poor opening but soon it went on to become a hit. Some critics also gave this film the tag of a sleeper hit. After years of airing the film has become of the cult classics of the Indian cinema.

Fukrey 3 Plot
Mrighdeep promised viewers that they will be taking a positive message with them after leaving the theater. And that the message will be delivered in an entertaining way. Soon after the topic shifts to Coronavirus global pandemic where he mentions that he previously had no plans to share or show the outbreak in the storyline. But he is considering adding a part of it too in the Fukrey 3.
Lamba also mentioned that he will deliver the COVID-19 in an amusing way which does not make it look too hard on people. The director also added he will consider making a full-length movie about Corona Virus with a pinch of entertainment if that part is not incorporated fully in the Fukrey 3.
While talking, he states that lockdown has affected the shooting and pre-production of the movie. However, the team is currently discussing things over phone/video calls. He added the story is nearing its end in writing part, 80% part is already written with some touch-ups left to make it perfect.
However one part which is left untouched is the screenplay, the team is majorly focusing to make it look as smooth as possible so that audience does not get bored while watching Fukrey 3. He reflected with certainty that production will begin as soon as the lockdown is lifted by the Government.
Earlier, the production was timed to begin in Oct-Nov last year but nothing is sure as of now as to when things will normalize and they can start the shoot. (check: Inside Edge season 3.)

Fukrey 3 Release Date
As stated by the director himself, the film has not yet started its shoot. With the writing and screenplay completed halfway, it will probably take around 1 year for it to finish. Fukrey 3 expected release date is around October 2021.
