Motherland: Fort Salem Season 2: Its first season premiered on freeform in March 2020. It is a supernatural drama series created by Elliot Laurence. It is set in the present time where there are witches and humans co-exist. The witches are treated with a lot of respect. It is shown how the witches join the US army.
It is based around them signing up with the government to use their supernatural powers to defeat their enemies and protect the nation. Once season one came out it gained audience and the reaction they got was pretty amazing. Hence, Freeform didn’t take much time and renewed it for another installment.
They said that the creators are already working on the second installment. It looks like the pre-production is on full swing. They are excited that they can explore the show even more and bring something out of it for the audience. Now, that leaves us with a lot of questions for us like when will we see another season? What will the plot be? well let’s dive into the details.
What is the plot of MFS season 2?
In the finale, we were left with a cliffhanger so it’s likely we will pick from where we left. We saw that General Alder lost one of their buddies. Alder starts losing her power and we saw how Tally transferred her youth to heal Alder. (check: Inside Edge Season 3.)
We also saw that Taylor was supposed to be the healer, but even she was stabbed and on the verge of death and when Abigail tried to heal her we saw Taylor unravel a new hidden power in her. With this, we can see a lot of possibilities in the second season. It can show us more about the hidden power.
It can show us the aftermath of what happens to Tally. We are yet to receive any official plot. Let us know what you think is going to be the plot next? As of now, we can only speculate as nothing is official yet. (check: Toy Story 5.)
Who will be in Motherland: Fort Salem season 2?
We are expecting the same cast to come back. Like Lyne Renee (seen in love at First Kill) as General Sarah Alder, Taylor Hickson (seen in Deadpool) as Raelle Collar, Jessica Sutton (seen in the Kissing Booth) as Tally Craven, Ashley Nicole Williams as Abigail Bellweather, Amalia Holm (seen Alena) as Scylla, and Demetria McKinney (seen in The Rickey Smiley Show) as Anacostia Quartermaine.
There wasn’t any other revelation in terms of cast. We can at least hope to get all of them back for new installment. However we know Lyne Renee is going to be a recurring character in this series. (check: John Wick 4 release date.)
Is there any MFS season 2 trailer?
As of now, the shooting has not begun and once it begins we will be able to understand when we will see a trailer. If things look better in a few weeks then we may see a trailer as soon as in early 2021 or end of 2020.
However, we will just have to wait and see if there are any announcements made for the same. We are sure once the work begins we will see some glimpses which will explain certain things. We will update you guys about the same.
When will Motherland: Fort Salem season 2 release (date)? Premiere:
As of now, there are no clear dates for production. So, it looks like there is going to be a waiting period for all of us. Well nonetheless, if the situation gets better and the production begins in 2020 itself, we can see this season 2 in 2021. However, it completely depends as of now. Once we get any updates for the same, we will be sure to let you know first.
