The Indian comedy-drama web tv series starring Jitender Kumar aka ‘Jeetu Bhaiyiya’ from the popular series ‘Kota Factory’. The show depicts the story of an engineering graduate Abhishek Tripathi who because of less job available in his field of education, joins as secretary of a panchayat office.
The show has performed astonishingly well on Amazon Prime Video and got mostly good word of mouth. The positive reviews turned into a rating of 8.8/10 on IMDb. So, the majority of the odds are in favor of renewal for season 2.

‘Panchayat’ Season 2 Plot: What will happen next?
We have seen in the first outing that how an unemployed engineering graduate decides to become a secretary of the Panchayat. And the panchayat is far away from the modern world in a small village of Phulera, Uttar Pradesh.
Other than this, the villagers are kind of crazy, and Abhishek Tripathi, the lead character, now, just wants to get out of all this. For achieving this, he applied for the Common Admission Test (CAT) which is an entrance exam for the Indian Institute of Management.
But eventually, as already the odds are not in favor of Abhishek, he started facing electricity issues during the night, the time when he always free for study.
Due to many factors, he fails to crack the entrance exam and become sad. But one day he realized that he can try one more time. He got the realization after watching Manju Devi who sings national anthem drastically but confidently.
Later, he decides to continue working as a secretary and meets Rinki. That’s the part of the story, we have covered in the first season.
In the Panchayat season 2, we may see some sort of romance between Abhishek and Rinki. And Abhishek may learn to enjoy the life of rural India and face it happily.

‘Panchayat’ Season 2 Cast
The show has just started so we may not see any alteration with the cast members. We will continue to see Jitender Kumar as Abhishek Tripathi and Pooja Singh as Rinki. Other possible star casts include:

‘Panchayat’ Season 2 Release Date
The first installment of the series was premiered almost 2 months ago on April 3, 2020. The OTT platforms such as Amazon Prime Video and Netflix take one or two months of time for observation.
After considering various factors, mainly viewership they decide to renew a particular show. But till now there is nothing out from the side of Amazon Prime Video or the TVF, the creator of the show.
But the eight episodes of season 1 are not sufficient to complete the story. The ending has lots of cliffhangers as we have covered in the “Plot” section above. There is a strong possibility of getting more episodes.
If in the coming month, the creators renew ‘Panchayat’ season 2, then we can expect the release date to fall somewhere in April 2021. This is so because the filming and other work require a time frame of about a year for 10 or fewer episodes.
This time also, we may see 8 or 10 episodes. We will update this section once some official news becomes public.
