The Pokémon Company & Tencent Games announced Pokemon MOBA Unite on June 24, 2020. The game genre is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) which allows ten users, in 5 vs 5 teams, to battle each other and collect points. Fans did not appreciate this move and made funny Pokémon Unite MOBA Memes & Funny Images.
The company is entering the MOBA arena for the first time with its latest game as it has only released single players games like Pokemon Go in the past.
Tsunekazu Ishihara of the Pokémon Company unveiled the first “strategic battle game n the series,” through a YouTube live announcement.
Pokémon MOBA Unite Release Date & Gameplay
Pokemon MOBA Unite will be released on two platforms Nintendo Switch & Mobile (both Android & Apple). He did not reveal the release date but it is expected to arrive soon in the market.
Timi Studious, a subsidiary of Tencent, is currently developing the game as it is not fully processed yet to release. Few bugs and final touch-ups are required for smooth gameplay experience.

The game announcement did not amuse the fans who waited so long for the “big announcement.” They were expected something more subtle and playful like Pokemon Go. Instead, the company has decided to release an online multiplayer game with the likes of DOTA 2, League of Legends, etc.
The idea is being hated so much that in just under 2 hours, today’s Pokémon Presents has nearly surpassed Pokémon Sword & Shield’s Treehouse Live gameplay video in dislikes.

Tencent is a Chinese Company and the Chinese Government is infamous for ‘stealing private data’ from the local companies to use for fulfilling their propagandas.
