Rustom 7th / 8th Day Collection, Rustom 1st Thursday / Friday / Week Box Office Total 7 Days Report and Occupancy: Rustom, the thriller drama released back on 12th August is proving to be all set to break records in this year. The movie is written by Vipul K Rawal, directed by Tinu Suresh Desai and produced by Neeraj Pandey. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Ileana D’Cruz, and Esha Gupta.

The movie is winning the box office with its second highest box office collection of Rs 82.28 crores in first six days run. Not only domestic collection was wonderful but the movie got excellent response overseas with a net collection of Rs 20.27 crores in first four days.

The movie opened with decent collection on day six with a collection of Rs 6.38 crores. And with its ongoing collection, predictions are made the movie will soon enter the 100 crore club. The movie is also expected to have a fair collection in its second week too as Mohenjo Daro lost the hype in its first week. It will be interesting to witness the overall growth of the movie.

Rustom got the biggest hike over the competitive movie Mohenjo Daro with its opening collection of Rs 14.11 crores in total. Rustom left Mohenjo Daro far behind.

Usually, the Bollywood movies are not too much entertained in eastern parts of India but Rustom got good reviews from those parts too. Urban cities like Mysore, Delhi, and Mumbai provided the platform for the movie to collect a big box figure.

The box office collection is most favored by a number of holidays this week. The movie is expected to be the fastest entrant in 100 crore club. The movie beats all another movie of Akshay Kumar to get a net gross collection of 100 crores in 2016.

 Rustom was a low budget film with an overall budget of Rs 60 crores. But the Khiladi Kumar has proved that the budget doesn’t matter, the movie should be story oriented and public loved it gardening a lot of appreciation.

The storyline of the movie is focused on a Navy officer Rustom Pavri who is dedicated to his services. The plot of the movie shows how he is been cheated by his wife Cynthia Pavri. The officer shot the man and this leads to the courtroom drama.

The melodious songs of Rustom are already on the hit list. The movie is yet to break some more of the records.

  1. Superstar Akshay Kumar is so talented and after doing such diverse roles in films, this versatile actor has sung that Thank You song so beautifully…it conveys the message, is hilarious and is completely entertaining….

    He needs to be congratulated on the success of Rustom which released in just 2300 screens or so when other superstars come with 4000-4500 screens solo releases, had a tough competition with another superstar Hrithik Roshan’s 100 crore magnum opus and still has blazed through to glory and is on the way to get his 3rd 100 crore film of the year.

    The aggregate total of all his films this year will be around 350 crores in the Indian box office collections itself…..The master entertainer…India salutes you…
