The ‘Titanium’ singer Sia reportedly misunderstood the context when one fan asked, “where’s the collaboration with @NickiMinaj,” and she replied, “I love @iamCardiB”.
Rumors have been circulating around the Internet about the upcoming collab of Sia & Nicki Minaj since two months. It all began when Nicki posted a photo wearing Sia’s half black, half white wig. Citing the photo, a curious fan tweeted her asking when the album/track will be dropping.
Sia replied with, “I love @iamcardib and although this isn’t a collaboration, I would like to COLLAB with her any day!”. Fans went mad over the reply of Sia.
The entire event took place midnight June 12, 2020. Sia apologized to both the pop stars Nicki Minaj & Cardi B for the misunderstanding. She then also shed news on George Floyd & Breonna Taylor, two black people murdered recently by police.
Consequently, the ‘Cheap Thrills’ fame Sia deleted the tweet soon after realizing she has made a ‘buffoon’ out of herself. Check out the photo below.
I totally misunderstood a tweet earlier that has resulted in me making a buffoon out of myself.
Sorry @NICKIMINAJ and @iamcardib if you hear about it.
Can I just like you both?— sia (@Sia) June 13, 2020
The feud between Cardi B and Nicki Minaj is continuing for a long time. It is clearly visible when one artist disses the other, whether on Late Night Shows or through social media. So, Sia said B & Nicki have a lot to focus on rather than a silly feud such as supporting for #BlackLivesMatter movement, etc.
In the beginning, fans were calling the 44-year-old Australian singer a ‘racist’ for confusing two black people. However, fans have forgiven Sia for the silly mistake and encouraged her to proofread the tweets before publishing them.
The ‘Chandelier’ singer released her latest single “Together” on May 20. Maddie Ziegler, the star who accompanies the singer in dancing and making the music video pleasing to eyes, is full of cherry colors and rainbows.
