Sushant Singh Rajput has committed suicide at an age of 34. Bollywood has lost another actor. He was found dead at his residence in Mumbai. The Hindi film industry has recently lost two veterans – Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor. It was still reeling the loss of them, yet another has come.
The 34-years-old, Sushant was best known for his performances on the small screens as well as in movies. The authorities found him hanging at his Bandra home. Additional Commissioner of Police Dr Manoj Sharma confirmed Sushant’s death news. DCP Pranay added that no suicide note has been found and Mumbai Police is investigating the case.
Sushant was last seen in Chhichhore which released in 2019. It turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. In it, he had romanced with Shraddha Kapoor. Recently, Sushant and Rhea Chakravorty were said to be dating each other.

In his early days, Sushant came into limelight with his amazing performance in TV shows. Later on, he successfully managed to get roles in films. His first Bollywood film was Kai Po Che which released in 2012. He continued to deliver amazing performances and was seen in PK and Kedarnath among others.
The biggest hit of Sushant Singh Rajput’s movie career will remain to be MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. In it, he portrayed the former Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. He was very much loved for his role in the film. Disha Patani and Kiara Advani were cast in the lead roles opposite to him.
Coming to his future prospects, Sushant had Mukesh Chhabra directorial Dil Bechara on the list. The actor was to work with Sanjana Sanghi. It was an official remake of the Hollywood hit film The Fault in Our Stars.
On Instagram, Sushant had last posted about his mother. He had written: “He shared a picture of his mother and wrote, “Blurred past evaporating from teardrops Unending dreams carving an arc of a smile And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two… #माँ ❤️”.
Post Sushant’s death, many Bollywood celebs have expressed their grief and disappointments on social media sites.
A devasted Akshay Kumar had posted:
“Honestly this news has left me shocked and speechless…I remember watching #SushantSinghRajput in Chhichhore and telling my friend Sajid, its producer how much I’d enjoyed the film and wish I’d been a part of it. Such a talented actor…may God give strength to his family.” While Richa Chadha had posted, “Hands are shaking… Gutted. Why buddy? Why? Devastated. Too young to go… too young… just call and talk if you feel sad… please ! Please! We’re all here.”
