UP Assistant Teacher Result 2020: The UPBED (Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board) has published the recruitment result of 69000 Shikshak vacancies in various zones. The exam took place last year and around three lakh candidates appeared for it. The result can be checked online on atrexam.upsdc.gov.in and upbasiceduboard.gov.in

As the link has been made active officially, you can now go and download your mark-sheet today. A whopping four lakhs candidates registered for the recruitment drive. The candidates can check the outcomes of their hard work today, May 13. In order to do so, you will need to keep your admit card handy as your roll number will be asked in the process. You just need to enter the asked necessary details like roll or application number in order to proceed.

UP Assistant Teacher Result 2020: category-wise

The list of qualified candidates include candidates of – 36,614 of general category, 84,868 OBC, 24,308 SC, and 270 SC. You may now be thinking about what to do next after the result has been declared officially. It should be noted that the written exam weights only 60% of the merit list.

The candidates will be further shortlisted taking 10% account each of the marks obtained in class 10, class 12, graduation, and qualifying marks. Then only, the ‘all-inclusive’ final merit list will be prepared. After that, the meritorious candidates will have to show their original documents. Then, the selected candidates will get offer letters from the government.

It should be noted that BEd qualified candidates have shown dominance in the list of selected 1.4 lakh candidates. A total of 97,368 such candidates have qualified the Uttar Pradesh Assistant Teacher exam. Then, there are 38,618 DElEd pass candidates followed by 8018 para-teachers. Rest has different educational backgrounds as per the report.

How many marks are needed to qualify the exam

If you want to be called a qualified candidate this time, you need to achieve at least 97.5 marks in total or 65 percent of 150. However, it was on a lower side for reserved category students. They required only 90 marks of 60 percent.
