Remember the days when puberty hit you? Wasn’t it one of the hard phases in your life. However, when this stage hits a teenager there is nothing but complications and confusion along the way. Big Mouth showcases a bunch of teenagers going through puberty. The third installment concluded in 2019 and since then fans have been waiting to see season 4.
Lucky for the fans that Netflix has renewed the show for three more seasons. Not only three more seasons but also a spin-off based on the hormone monsters called Human Resources. This means we will be seeing more of some relatable sexual problems and also more of the bold hormone monsters.
What is the plot for Big Mouth season 4?
Towards the end of the third installment, we saw that Andrew was pretty jealous of the kiss Melissa and Nick shared. However, that kiss led Nick to realize that he is not into Melissa. Although Andrew told Nick that he won’t be going to the camp and ended the friendship.
Meanwhile, Jessi’s mom put up a ‘For Sale’ sign on her lawn after she told her daughter she wants to move to New York. Missy burned the photos of her ex-love interests Lars, Nick, and Andrew after they all basically fought over her. The only one who got a happy ending in this installment was Jay. He was finally accepted into his family as a Bilzerian.
Looks like season four will be off to a rocky start in their eighth grade. After all the drama they all have been in. However, it may lead to a new storyline for us. Nick and Andrew will be going separate ways this year. We may also see a completely new Missy. Jessi may be completely gone or in a new school.
We may also see Melissa listening closely to Hormone Monsters after being labeled as a dork. However, whatever the show brings it sure is going to be a rollercoaster of emotions.
Who is in the cast of Big Mouth season 4?
Most of the main casts will be returning back to the show like Nick Kroll as Nick, John Mulaney as Andrew, Jason Mantzoukas as Jay Bilzerian, Jenny Slate as Missy, Fred Armisen as Elliot Birch and Jordon Peele as The Ghost of Duke Ellington, Maya Rudolph, and Jordan Peele. However, since in there has been no mention of any exit of the character, we can expect Jessi Klein as Jessi Glaser.
Will there be a Big Mouth season 4 (release date)? Premiere
The work on season four has been completed and it was also hinted that the work on the fifth installment has begun. So, we won’t see any delays. However, since the series first came out, we have seen it come on air after exactly one year. If the show follows the tradition the show may come back in late September or early October 2020.
However, since the production of major shows has been shut it may not be a surprise if the release of Big Mouth gets preponed. AMC preponed the release of Killing Eve to cover The Walking Dead’s time slot. However, we will only know once a confirm date comes out. (check: Outer Banks Season 2.)
Is there a season 4 trailer for Big Mouth?
So far, the trailer for season five has not come out. We may get to see the trailer a few months prior to the release of the show. (check: The Expanse Season 5 Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Episodes: Will There Be Another Amazon Prime Series?.)
However, in the meanwhile, you can watch the trailer for season three below.
