Good Omens is based on a 1990 fantasy novel by the same name written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. The first season premiered on Amazon Prime in 2019 and later aired on BBC Two in 2020. It was released on a weekly basis on BBC. Director Douglas had mentioned that the shoot went very well.

In fact, usually, there is a need to reshoot in every show or movie but in this, he didn’t need any. When asked if he wanted to change anything in the show, he said he wouldn’t. Seems like the director was happy with the outcome. The show received a positive response from its audience as well.

It had an amazing rating of 8.1 on IMDb. Although there were petitions signed to stop the show, the show made it to the screens. Now that the show has been released worldwide. There are questions like will there be a season 2 of Good Omens or not? Well, let’s get into all the details and find out what we have in store.

What will Good Omens season 2 plot be about?

The show is strongly based on the fantasy novel of the same name. The show revolves around an angel Aziraphale and Crowley, who are on earth representing heaven and hell each respectively. They strive to prevent the coming of Antichrist and Armageddon, the final battle between heaven and hell.

However, in the end, we see that the end of the world is prevented. Adam was not an Antichrist anymore. It was a major change from the ending we saw in the novel. The dog was just a dog and not a Hellhound. Angel Gabriel and Beelzebub went back to Heaven and Hell respectively. However, the show ended with a good note.

If the show does come back, we would like to see what happens next. How the changes in Adam will impact the world. Well, these are just some wild guesses. Let us know what you think? (check: ‘Space Jam 2: A New Legacy’ Release Date, Trailer, Plot, Cast And Everything You Need To Know.)
