Letterkenny Season 9 Release Date, Cast, Trailer, Episodes, Plot, Spoilers, News & Updates

Speculations of a Season 9 of Letterkenny has been doing the rounds for quite some time now. The audience wants to know if they can watch the quirky characters once more with a brand-new installment and plot. Here, we are going to tell you every detail from the season renewal confirmation to the star cast and more seasons (if any).

Will there be a Letterkenny season 9?

An official statement or confirmation hasn’t been passed around yet. But we’re assuming for the Canadian sitcom to return with its ninth season on Hulu. The creator and lead of the show, Jared Keeso, once said that the show would comprise 70 episodes in its entirety. After the release of the fifth installment, Keeso also spoke of the show coming up with another batch of 40 chapters in the future. Therefore, it is presumable to allow ourselves to imagine Season 9.

What is the Letterkenny season 9 release date?

The eighth installment of Letterkenny premiered on Hulu on December 27, 2019, by releasing the entire lot of seven episodes, but the makers haven’t said anything regarding the season 9 release date. Plus, the whole of Hollywood and the production houses have halted their projects because of the spread of Covid-19. Hence, the release prediction is a little tricky at the moment.

However, Keeso did indirectly confirm the next season, and apparently, he established an installment post that as well. In August 2018, Keeso informed in an interview about 40 more episodes. He further added, “40 episodes means job security for the next three years. The fact I didn’t have that for my first ten years in this business is not lost on me.”

So, we could deduce to watch some more of Letterkenny seasons.

Where is Letterkenny Filmed? Shooting Locations

Even though the series is set in a fictional town of Letterkenny, Canada, the filming locations are entirely real. The village is depicted to be located in the province of Ontario. Coming to the actual sites, Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, is where the show is filmed. The region is mostly urban but is also covered in a good-sized countryside.

The small farm run by the sibling duo of Wayne and Katy is 1546 Cote Boulevard- it works as a farm in the show. Then comes the Frood Hotel- the bar where every person of the village goes to grab a drink is known as MoDean’s Roadhouse in reality. And lastly, we have St. Paul’s United Church referred to as “the church” in the show.
