Shameless has been a fan favorite since its debut in 2011. Nobody realized that it’s almost a decade of celebrating and watching this drama-comedy or ‘dramedy’. The first-ever show in Showtime’s history has such a long-running career, but it all happened with the fan’s love, support, and the numbers on the charts.

However, we would wish for the show to run, the makers have decided to end the show after giving us the last season as a goodbye gift. By now, everyone might have countable questions regarding the show’s end and when they could bid adieu. We’re here to save the day and pass all the information we contain, so let’s begin before you decide not to read any further.

When will the Shameless season 11 release? Premiere Date

Earlier in the year, Shameless was rumored to return in November 2020, but that was until the human existence wasn’t in danger. After the spread of Covid-19 broke through across the world, everything was shut completely to avoid human contact.

It is only smart to predict the arrival of season 11 to be released either in late 2021 or early 2022 after the country resumes its industry. Now, that will be one hell of an emotional goodbye because of the decade long history with the audience. However, that’s a story for a different time.

What will happen in Shameless season 11? Plot/Storyline

If you’re an avid viewer of Shameless, you know every single detail till the present moment, but for the non-viewers, let us have the opportunity to fill you in.

The show encircles Frank Gallagher and his six children: Fiona, Carl, Debbie, Ian, Philip, aka Lip, and Liam. Frank is a single father who is mostly drinking away while his children manage to live their lives without their father’s much influence.

This dysfunctional family lives poorly with facing challenges, however, since it’s a dramedy, they don’t forget to laugh, and neither do you.

In the final season, we are about to see much drama unfold in all of their lives. Starting with Ian and Mickey finally getting married and beginning a new life together. The fans yearned for this moment, and it finally happened.

Despite everyone being happy with their union, Mickey’s dad, Terry Milkovich, isn’t as loving and welcoming as a father since he’s homophobic. Plus, he tried to burn the couple alive in the church. They got married by locking them inside, but fortunately, they weren’t harmed.

When that didn’t work, Terry ruined their honeymoon by trying to kill them again. In the next season, we might see them finally confronting Terry.

Lip and Tami attend the wedding with their infant, Fred, but fall into a fight where Lip threatened Tami to move away with their baby. Eventually, Tami came up to help Lip with their new family home in Chicago. On the other hand, Debbie is in a difficult situation because she’s running from the police.

The teenager she had a quick fling with was still an underage teen, and therefore, the cops have the warrant against her of statutory rape.

The ending is still a mystery to all. Again, a possible theory is for the Gallaghers to leave their city and relocate because Levine said, “[executive producer] John Wells and his gifted cast promise to take Shameless out for a ban.” It could be taken in a literal sense in some cases.
