Penn Badgley starring ‘You’ is officially returning on Netflix with season 3. YOU initially came out in 2018. It brought thriller, mystery, and romance together, and it raised its rank on Netflix. It has since been one of the most anticipated shows, and fans are already waiting for another season.
Now since it is official that another season is on the cards, let’s find out what we can expect. Since Joe is going to be a father, will things be different? Or will Joe and Love take it further?
You Season 3 Cast: Who Will Be In It?
Penn Badgley will be reprising his role as Joe Goldberg. Since Joe and Love were shown moving in together, it is safe to assume that joining him will be Victoria Pedretti as Love Quinn.
We may also see Robin Lord Taylor as Will Bettelheim because his identity is still stolen. We might see Love’s friends back like Marielle Scott as Lucy, Melanie Field as Sunrise, and Charlie Barnett as Gabe.
Since Ellie’s story is still incomplete chances are, we will see her in the third season as well. Jenna Ortega (Ellie Alves) mentioned in an interview that her story had not been completed yet and there are possibilities still open.
We won’t be seeing Carmela Zumbado as Delilah and Ambyr Childers as Candace because they already met their end in season two.
You Season 3 Plot: What Will Happen Next?
Season two left us baffled and brought something we didn’t expect. When Joe was trapped in a cage with Delilah by Candace, Love came to save him and killed Candace. It was later revealed that Love also killed Delilah. However, in the last moments of season two, we saw Joe and Love moving in together. Not only that, but Love was also pregnant.
Season two will likely proceed from where it left off. It will be interesting to see if having a kid will change Joe and Love or if it will make them even worse.
There have been speculations that the unborn child of Love is not Joe’s child. Some suspected that it might be Milo’s kid. This may turn out to be crazy, but then the writers of the show have already startled us with so many twists so it may happen.
Some fans suggested that it can be possible that Love is the one who killed her late husband. This is still questionable, but if she did, we may see some signs of it in this season. (check: Doctor Who Season 13.)
Towards the end, we also saw a new character who seemed to be Joe and Love’s, neighbor. It did appear as if this character was going to play an important role in next season. So, is this person from his past or is this going to be somebody new? Guess we will only know when season three comes out.
Rumors say that it could be the mother of Joe, but Badgley has neglected this fan theory.
Let us know what you think may happen in season three?
