The first season of German singing reality show based on karaoke Sing On! Germany recently aired on Netflix. The show somehow followed the Spanish show “Sing on! Spain”. Like the other reality shows, contestants need to compete with each other to win. The show also assures good prizes for the winner.

Sing On! Germany Season 2 Release Date
The first installment premiered on August 7, 2020, on Netflix. The show being initiated recently, it is quite difficult to comment on the released date for the next installment. Netflix, at least, takes 2-3 months to analyze the popularity of a show. Only then, it will decide whether the show should be renewed or not.
The current conditions created by the deadly Coronavirus made it more challenging to get the release date. As it is not possible to record a show in the current situation, we are not going to have any installment this year. Officially, Netflix hasn’t announced the upcoming installment yet. If the show gets renewed soon, we can expect a season 2 by the end of 2021.
Sing On! Germany Season 2 Host
Paulina Rojinski hosted the freshman installment. If you are familiar with names like VIVA, RTL, etc. you know her. She also appeared on these shows. She debuted on the TV screen by the famous show “MTV Home”. She managed to host the show quite well and in a fair manner. Also, she will be the host for Sing On! Germany, season 2. So, the viewers are going to see her again in the fresh new installment.

Sing On! Germany Season 2 Plot
The previous plot of the show was similar to the rest of the singing reality shows. But the difference was that there was no jury to decide the winners instead a supercomputer was used. The voice is analyzed by the vocal analyzer and then computed.
The contestants had to fulfil the criteria of achieving the hits on notes that also increase the prize money. The lyrics of the songs are also available on the screen which connects the viewer with the song. Also, Paulina entertains the viewers by an exceptional performance in the opening of each episode called Paulina Performance.
The show contains seven episodes. Six contestants sing a song to prove their singing ability. If the voice hits the notes, the contestant clears the round and secures his place in the second round. The contestant with the least hits is then eliminated form that round. The one who is left at the end is declared as the winner. The champion takes the prize home. The plot should be the same in the next run too.
What’s new in SOG season 2?
In installment one, there was no jury to decide the winner, and it makes the decision very fair. But, sometimes a machine can’t analyze the voice correctly. So, considering it, the new installment may also include some jury members along with its previous host Paulina.
